Singing Assembly!

Singing together fosters a sense of belonging, togetherness and teamwork.

Here at Grangetown Primary School we take pride in our dedication to music - and our singing assemblies are at the top of the list!

Our singing assemblies feature a range of songs that reflect themes related to important aspects of the school community.

The assemblies are conducted weekly by Mrs Todd (Music Teacher). Each song is carefully selected by Mrs Todd, who keeps in mind the way that music can provide an uplifting, meaningful and enjoyable experience.

Here's a selection of songs we especially enjoy singing as a school. These links will enable the children to re-visit and practice their Assembly songs, if they wish!

A fantastic song from ‘High school musical’. This song is all about friendship and being together. This is a fun sing-a-long song for KS1 and KS2.

A Grangetown Favourite! This is a special school song that shows pride for our school and encourages our pupils to fully embrace their school-days and give it their all.

A classic Beatles song! This wonderful song is all about friendship and being supportive of others at school.

A classic song, which teaches our pupils to stand together and support each other. This is a wonderful song to sing together and it promotes a sense of community within the school.
