Autumn 2

November

What a fantastic start to the Autumn term we've had! We've loved taking part in Magical Maths and have been amazing at sharing many different methods that we used. Our favourite was definitely Lots of Lollies where we had to guess how many lollies could have been in the bag. We also loved PE when had a chance to putt some balls in tri golf.

Year 3BM Autumn 2 2023

Autumn 1

October

We had such a blast at Broomhouse Farm and couldn't believe how many activities we managed to fit into our day. We met Jo and she showed us around the farm. We met many animals and even got to see the sheep get sheared. We're hoping to see some baby lambs when we go next time, in Spring. The highlights of the day were definitely when we headed into the forest adventure and went on the zip line and sledge ride. We cannot wait to go back soon!

September

We have all been working so hard these first few weeks on our new topics and we've got so much more planned to fit in too.

In Science we are busy learning about animals including humans and we have been fascinated by what is in our food. We designed and created healthie pizzas this week and we were careful to include an item from each of the food groups.

Our class text this half term is The Fox and the Star and we have created our own story maps on this story. We will be creating our own stories based on our class text where we are innovating the character.

We took part in our first Magical Maths session last week and we were so good at problem solving and discussing the methods that we used.
