We encourage the wearing of uniform, as we believe it promotes teamwork and a positive attitude.

In Summer 2010 we carried out consultations with children and parents, resulting in some key changes to our uniform: blue replaced grey as our school colour, and we decided that parents should be able to purchase uniform from local stores rather than just from one official supplier. Asda (just 5 minutes away from the school) agreed to meet an initial order, and will be holding a 'fashion show' in school in the Autumn term.

We will be asking our children to re-design our school badge during 2010-11, and we will arrange for the new badge to be professionally sewn or embroidered onto our uniform.

The story of our Uniform initiative is here. Our full Uniform Policy is set out in our Brochure.

Ordering online from Asda is easy - click here to go to their site. Of course, parents are free to buy their uniform from any supplier - other stores that stock similar items include Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Matalan, Sainsbury's and Primark - all offer straightforward online ordering.

Our uniform is as follows (note that royal blue is called Cobalt Blue by Asda):

Girls
  • Royal blue sweatshirt, v-neck jumper or cardigan
  • White polo shirt or traditional collared shirt
  • Grey or black skirt or trousers
    Black shoes
  • P.E. Plain t-shirt, plain shorts or gym skirt and trainers
Note: if you have a 'house' t-shirt, this can be worn for PE - we have some stocks of these left, at the bargain price of £2.00 instead of the usual £3.50.
