Date letter issued: Thursday 8 September 2011
Letter for:
All Parents/carers

Dear Parent/Carer

A MESSAGE TO PARENTS OF CHILDREN IN YEARS N, R, 1, 2, 3, 4
To ensure the safety of pupils, all children up to year 4 should be collected from school by their parent or carer. If you are unable to collect your child in person on an ongoing basis, you should inform the school in writing and tell us who will collect your child - this should of course be a responsible adult. If you are unable to collect your child on any one particular day, we would prefer to know this in writing the day before (or you should telephone us on the day and tell us who will collect your child).

A MESSAGE TO PARENTS OF CHILDREN IN YEARS 5 & 6
We would like parents and carers of all year 5 & 6 children to decide on what is best for them. You can either collect your child, or you can allow them to go home       unaccompanied. If you decide that your child can go home unaccompanied you should complete and return the attached slip. From Monday 12th September year 5 and 6 children will not be allowed to make their way home unaccompanied, unless we have your written agreement.

Yours sincerely

L  McAnaney
